HIGH POINT, N.C. (AP) Junior Ricky Madison had his first career double-double and Brandon Kamga scored 13 points, including three 3-pointers, to help High Point beat Presbyterian 73-49 on Monday night.
Madison made all seven of his free-throw attempts, finished with 11 points and grabbed a career-high 13 rebounds. Denny Slay also scored 11, while Jahaad Proctor and Andre Fox added 10 points apiece for High Point (8-9, 3-3 Big South)
Kamga hit a 3 to open the scoring and Austin White's jumper gave the Panthers a 13-3. Armel TeTe's jumper pulled Presbyterian (8-11, 1-5) within eight points with four minutes left in the first half, but Proctor and Slay answered with back-to-back 3-pointers to push the lead to 31-17 about a minute later. High Point, which made twice as many first-half field goals (12) than the Blue Hose, led by at least 11 the rest of the way.
