Hill leads Seattle over New Mexico State 73-63 in OT

SEATTLE (AP) Jordan Hill scored 11 points in overtime to put Seattle over New Mexico State 73-63 on Saturday afternoon.

Josh Hearlihy hit a 3-pointer and Hill made a 3-point play to help the Redhawks (19-9, 8-3 Western Athletic Conference) take a 65-59 lead with 2:14 to play in overtime. Hill made four free throws in the final 37 seconds to help keep Seattle on top.

The teams were tied at halftime and Seattle used a 6-0 run early in the second half to take a 34-28 advantage. Zach Lofton gave New Mexico State its first lead of the second half, 57-55, on a 3-pointer with 1:19 left but Hearlihy tied it again 57-all on a pair of free throws. Lofton missed a 3-point try as time expired, sending the game into overtime.
