Akron fires coach after 2 seasons, 2 victories AKRON, Ohio (AP) Akron fired coach Rob Ianello after two seasons that produced just two victories. Ianello, a former Notre Dame assistant, was 2-22 in his two seasons as coach of the Zips. Akron went 1-15 in the Mid-American Conference under Ianello. Updated November 26, 2011
