The deal will pay Barth $980,000 and $155,000 in guaranteed money, the Chicago Tribune reported. Analysis: Barth was signed by the Bears on Sept. 5, one day after Robbie Gould, who had been the Bears kicker since 2005, was told he would be released. Barth missed a 31-yard field-goal in his very first attempt for the Bears. However, Barth made 18 of his 23 field goal attempts in 2016, which included a long of 49 yards. He missed one of his 32 extra-point attempts.
