Analysis: Jones suffered a split lip that needed nine stitches, but he avoided any further damage. Jones left the game with his mouth bleeding. He was taken to a hospital and underwent a CT scan. Jones was 0 for 1 on Saturday and is hitting .150 with one homer, four RBIs and 19 strikeouts in 16 games.
