Wood struck out eight, ending the game with a 2.69 ERA and 1.06 WHIP on the season.
Analysis: Wood entered with back-to-back losses as his breakout season took a wrong turn during the Dodgers' slide. The All-Star left-hander had allowed nine runs in 11 innings over his previous two starts.
Sep. 10 9:08 AM PT10:08 AM MT11:08 AM CT12:08 PM ET12:08 ET16:08 GMT0:08 9:08 AM MST11:08 AM EST11:38 AM VEN20:08 UAE11:08 AM CT-Alex Wood fell to 14-3, allowing five runs on eight hits and three walks in 5.0 innings, as the Los Angeles Dodgers lost to the Colorado Rockies 6-5 on Saturday. Wood struck out two, ending the game with a 2.81 ERA and 1.08 WHIP on the season.
Analysis: Wood's ERA is almost a run higher at home (3.21) than on the road (2.38), but his opponent OPS is lower at Dodger Stadium (.609).
Sep. 4 9:21 AM PT10:21 AM MT11:21 AM CT12:21 PM ET12:21 ET16:21 GMT0:21 9:21 AM MST11:21 AM EST11:51 AM VEN20:21 UAE11:21 AM CT-Alex Wood fell to 14-2, allowing four runs on seven hits and three walks in 6.0 innings, as the Los Angeles Dodgers lost to the San Diego Padres 6-4 on Sunday. Wood struck out seven, ending the game with a 2.57 ERA and 1.04 WHIP on the season.
Analysis: It was an unsuccessful return from the DL for Wood, who missed 12 days with an inflamed SC joint, but he walked away encouraged. "Mechanically," I'm close," Wood said. "Today was probably the best I've felt in my last few starts. Obviously, I was a little bit rusty." However, the southpaw has become susceptible to the long ball. He's served up 10 homers in his last seven starts after allowing just two through his first 14 outings.

Analysis: Manager Dave Roberts said the left shoulder injury is a recurrence of the same issue that sent Wood to the 10-day disabled list in May: inflammation in the sternoclavicular joint on the front side of his pitching shoulder. "It's a little concerning considering his history," Roberts said. "We have got to be cautious." Wood is 14-1 with a 2.41 ERA for the MLB-leading Dodgers this season.

Wood struck out six, ending the game with a 2.30 ERA and 1.01 WHIP on the season.
Analysis: Wood allowed a home run to Tim Anderson on the first pitch of the game but was stellar after that, even though the left-hander said, ''I didn't feel like I had my best stuff.'' Wood has yielded only four runs in 19 innings this month, but there has been one alarming trend. He's served up five homers in his last five outings after allowing two through his first 14 starts.
