We're at the back end of that time frame. Though the team has said he has no structural damage, Fultz reportedly received a cortisone shot last month. The 76ers will continue to play it safe with this year's No. 1 overall pick to make sure he's completely healed.

Analysis: Fultz has played in each of Philadelphia's four games and is averaging 6.0 points on 9-of-27 shooting. His free-throw shooting has also been poor as he has made just 6 of 12 attempts.

As he gets healthy, Fultz will get more minutes and the production should follow.

Fultz appeared to roll his ankle in the second half and was helped to the locker room by two teammates. Sixers summer league coach Lloyd Pierce said Fultz has been diagnosed with a sprained left ankle and "will be treated accordingly." Fultz will not play Sunday, but there is no timetable for his return to action. Analysis: It was the last thing the Sixers wanted to see just when they appeared to be ready to put years of misery behind them. They have dealt with significant injuries to center Joel Embiid and last year's No. 1 pick, Ben Simmons, over the last three years.
